INTERNET/WEB SITE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

LOCATION: Cumulus Media - Houston, 9801 Westheimer, Suite 700, Houston, Texas 77042

SUPERVISOR: Shannel Vance, Web Master

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a student and receive school course credit and/or fulfill a class/project requirement. Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (with a maximum of 30 hours a week)

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
 Must have a working knowledge of HTML
 Internet Research Capabilities
 Proficiency in Photoshop
 Knowledge of DotNetNuke (DNN) a plus (not necessary)
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office
 Outgoing & Energetic
 Ability to work well in a team environment
 Must work well under pressure
 Ability to work to lift and/or move 40 pounds.
 Good communication and/or customer service skills

DUTIES:
 Will assist the Cumulus Houston Web Master with various projects as assigned.
 Administrative duties as necessary (filing, laminating, etc)
 Assistance with production or proofreading of copy.
 Assisting the Promotions and Marketing Department as needed (for all 3 radio stations)

JOB SUMMARY: Cumulus Houston is seeking individuals who will be excited and responsible for promoting the station in a fun and positive way by interacting with listeners and the community at various events as well as assisting with the execution and coordination of multiple “small” station events/promotions as necessary. As a Web Intern you will assist the Web Master in creating web pages, banners, posting photos, podcasts and basic daily/weekly updates for 3 websites.
